A little about me
I help older teens and adults who feel anxious, lost, and stuck feel motivated and hopeful
for the future. I have specialized training working with individuals with OCD, anxiety disorders,
and eating disorders, focusing on helping them feel supported and empowered in working toward
their goals. Together, we can create an environment in which positive changes are possible
through hard work and observing issues from different perspectives. I am committed to
understanding the cultural contexts of individuals including the impact of race/ethnicity, gender,
sexual orientation, religion, and body shape/size.
I am uniquely trained in evidence-based techniques such as exposure and response
prevention (ERP) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am passionate about understanding
each individual beyond their symptoms and utilizing approaches such as dialectical behavioral
therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and motivational interviewing (MI)
to truly get to know each of my patients.
I received a master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. I
am currently a Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Karina Pierce, LPC.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, cooking, traveling, taking care of my
plants, and creating art.
