A little about me
I believe therapy is a powerful tool for gaining clarity on your identity, pursuing dreams, and
tackling life's challenges.
If you're someone overwhelmed by the unexpected hiccups of life, I would be honored to help
you rediscover confidence and identity. I work with adults stressed by anxiety, depression, grief,
faith transitions or other assorted challenges. I also have experience as a teacher, working with
adolescents struggling with ADHD, disorganization and developmental issues.
Life's journey entails growth and change, with unforeseen challenges sometimes throwing us off
balance. Seeking support is vital at these moments. As a therapist, I would be honored to walk
with you on a path towards healing.
My approach involves coming alongside you in a caring, safe, and supportive environment. I
utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a
person-centered therapeutic approach. Additionally, I am certified in Level One Gottman Method
Couples Therapy, actively pursuing a trauma certificate from George Fox University, and
learning Restoration Therapy.
I am currently completing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
George Fox University, but also hold a Master’s of Teaching Degree from Lewis and Clark
College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University.
Beyond my professional life, I find joy in spending time with family, walking my dog,
embracing the outdoors, continuous learning, staying active through exercise, and even
navigating the challenges of gluten-free baking (a journey that began after being a Pillsbury
Bake-off Finalist in 2012). Life is a series of challenges and triumphs, and I am here to support
you every step of the way.
