Your racing thoughts might say
"What if this happens..."
"Do they like me for me?"
"I'm never going to be good enough."
Your body responds with shallow breathing, rapid heart beat and it feels like you might pass out.
You might be struggling with anxiety!
Let me help!
I believe that every person can grow and change.
I believe that therapy can help anyone make positive changes toward the future they want.
I believe that teens are resilient and full of opportunity.
I believe that the next generation of therapists can make this world an amazing place of personal growth.
In therapy with me you can expect active participation! I believe that in therapy part of the experience is working with someone with a different perspective and lots of tools to help you make change. I love sharing tools, interventions and experiences with clients. When we are in person, we do a lot of worksheets, creative crafting and expression interventions. When we are online I often share things via my screen or emailing you during the session with a tip or tool you might use. I like to think of myself as a teacher/trainer and a psychologist.
In addition to my work in the office - I am a published author! I wrote a book in 2019 called Too Much, Not Enough: A guide to decreasing anxiety and finding balance through intentional choices. You can find out more by clicking here.
